We asked our friends for some of their favorite things about Milwaukee:
- The investment in connecting our arts and our rich outdoor spaces to create welcoming environments.
- Investing in leadership that has background and context to change systemic issues.
- The sports and corporate organizations that benefit from the talent in the city are continuing to reinvest in the city to make it an excellent place to live and play.
- Our Local craft breweries stretching the boundaries in every way while still paying tribute to the tradition and great history of beer in our city!
- RNC Coming to town bringing people here for the first time and knowing that after people visit for the first time they will leave impressed!
- Kayaking down the Milwaukee River alongside a funk band jamming on a pontoon boat right through downtown with my lovely wife and 70 other kayakers on a Wednesday night!
- Seeing young musicians in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra play a concert.
- Our city is rich with culture, history, live music, the arts, great food, and of course – beer. There is a sense of community and coming home when you are in Milwaukee.
